Overview

This brand new 3 hour Face to Face Activator Training Course has been developed to introduce the skills required to deliver fun, safe and inclusive tennis or padel sessions.

You’ll learn how to create positive first experiences that keep people engaged, use simple starter activities to get players active, and understand the LTA vision and the role of an Activator.

Course Content

Through this course you will develop a clear understanding of the LTA vision and the important role of an Activator in growing tennis and padel participation.

Utilising practical learning to build your confidence in organising fun and engaging tennis or padel sessions, you will learn about positive communication skills, as well as developing your organisation and group management skills to keep sessions running smoothly.

You will also learn how to adapt activities using differentiation and inclusive delivery principles to ensure everyone feels included and supported.

The course will also provide an introduction to rules, scoring, and modified formats of the game, giving you the knowledge needed to deliver sessions that are accessible, enjoyable and appropriate for beginner players.
