I am one of the Head Coaches at The Prosser Tennis Academy based in the heart of the Black Country. I have over 18 years of coaching experience, coupled with a career as a PE Teacher in local area. The Prosser Tennis Academy offers a variety of Junior and Adult coaching programmes which are suitable for complete beginners up to advanced players. Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
