Gino has been coaching at Hackney Tennis since 2003. He is a former Peruvian Junior International player and competed in tournaments across South, Central and North America. Injury terminated his playing career at the age of 20. Before joining Hackney Tennis Gino coached in Peru, Mexico and the USA where he mainly worked with juniors of national and international standard and Pro tour level. He remains in contact with junior and senior players from Peru and South America helping them.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
