I am a tennis coach with over 25 years of experience, teaching all levels of Adults and juniors from beginner level to National Level. I enjoy helping anyone looking to learn and develop their tennis and my goal is to get the best out of everyones abilty. I have experience working in private schools and commercial sector along with working with many adults and juniors at the various locations i have and do work at. Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
