My name is Robert Martynowicz. I am a qualified tennis instructor (based at Bannatyne Club, Humberston). I started coaching in 2022 with a group of keen players, teaching them the basics of the doubles game. I would like to share my own enthusiasm with others, to make tennis a pleasant experience! Coaching is to help players to understand and practise basic tennis fundamentals, improve their technique and learn the game strategies.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
