Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group fitness class set on a tennis court and open to people of all ages 16+ and abilities. Supported by motivating music and a qualified instructor, you’ll get to hit lots of tennis balls during your class and have a great cardio workout at the same time. All equipment provided. Join our free parks tennis sessions — open to all ages, abilities, and skill levels! Whether you come alone, with friends, or family, it's all about having fun and getting active. Led by our sports development officer and supported by two DBS-checked, safeguarding-trained volunteer activators, these friendly sessions are a great way to enjoy tennis in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Walking Tennis is a fun, low-impact version of tennis that’s perfect for players of all ages and abilities – especially those who may be returning to exercise, recovering from injury, or looking for a gentler way to stay active. The game is played on a smaller court with a slower ball, and crucially – no running or jumping is allowed. This makes it ideal for building fitness, improving coordination, and enjoying the social side of sport in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you’re new to tennis or just want to keep playing at a slower pace, Walking Tennis offers a great way to stay moving and have fun.
