This is a park for the sports enthusiast. If you’re looking for things to do in Chelmsford, then Chancellor Park is the setting for a number of outdoor sports which attract visitors all year-round. In addition to the all–popular football pitches and tennis courts, the site also benefits from a floodlit multi-use hard surface area and a bowls green which is maintained to league standard. There are two public tennis courts available at this park. The booking system is being introduced during the summer months to make it easier to get on court by booking in advance to guarantee availability. The tennis courts will remain free to use but we advise booking to reserve your court so it’s available when you turn up.
