
LTA appoints Bridie Amos as Deputy President from January 2026

The LTA is delighted to announce the appointment of Bridie Amos as its next Deputy President, effective from 1 January 2026.
Bridie was selected following a competitive process and was shortlisted from a strong field of three outstanding female candidates.
Bridie joined the LTA Board as a Council-elected Non-Executive Director on 1 January 2024.
She has represented Hertfordshire on the LTA Council since 2021 and has been a dedicated volunteer with Hertfordshire LTA since 2015. Her contributions have included leading initiatives to grow tennis in schools and driving increased female participation in both playing and coaching. More recently, she stepped into the role of Chair of Hertfordshire LTA.
Bridie brings a wealth of experience and passion to the role. A former management consultant and marketing executive, she now works as a Level 3 LTA Accredited Coach. A lifelong tennis player, she has represented clubs and her county since her junior days and has recently competed for Great Britain in ITF Seniors’ events.
