In 2023 Britain’s Henry Searle made history in becoming the first British player to win the Wimbledon boys’ singles title since 1962.

Now aged 19, Searle – who is supported by the Pro Scholarship Programme, presented by Lexus – has been making his first steps into the professional game with a full season competing o the ITF and ATP Challenger Tours.

This summer, the young Brit from Wolverhampton has also had chance to play a full grass court season at the professional level, with wild cards into the main draws at Ilkley and Wimbledon, as well as qualifying for the HSBC Championships and Lexus Eastbourne Open.

Ahead of a main draw debut at the Lexus Ilkley Open, Searle caught up with the team at Tennis Channel to discuss his story into tennis, the progress he’s making on the tour and ambitions for the future.
