Tennis Wales appoints Janet Evans as Company Secretary

We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Janet Evans as Company Secretary.  Janet will help to guide the Tennis Wales Board on all governance matters relating to our organisation.  Having undertaken a thorough recruitment process with many applicants, Janet will assist the organisation to deliver its 2020 – 2024 strategy for tennis opened up across Wales.

Janet has over 30 years of business experience, with the most recent years specialising in Governance.  As Head of IT Governance for the Admiral Group in Cardiff, Janet brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

"I am delighted to be joining Tennis Wales at this exciting time and look forward to supporting the delivery of the 2020-2024 Strategy and seeing Tennis played more widely and enjoyed by all in Wales" .

Tennis Wales’ new 2020 – 2024 vision for tennis opened up across Wales launched earlier this year, and with 1,200 tennis courts across Wales, the Governing Body is committed to growing the game by making it relevant, accessible, welcoming & enjoyable right across the country in the years ahead. 

Janet Evans joins the team in October 2020, as tennis continues to open up following the Covid-19 restrictions.
