13 players from Wales competed in the finals across both quad and open divisions in singles and doubles - two ladies, seven men, and four juniors.

Fay Dutfield-Horton took the title in both the Ladies doubles and singles, while Tony Heslop reached the Men’s singles finals, where he came second. Alex Wilson made it to the men’s consolation singles final, also coming second.

Tony Heslop also won the consolation doubles with Kevin Wilson, while he was awarded with a trophy for Men’s singles national series points winner for the circuit of events in 2022. Debbie Brazier took the silverware for ladies doubles national series points winner.

Lily Folland got through to the final of the Girl’s singles, while Harri Jenkins and Paul Preece made it to the semi-final of the doubles.

Team Manager Will Croft said: “I’m chuffed to bits to see all our Welsh players getting stuck into tournaments and putting us on the map. Well done to all the players who competed and gave it all the effort they had.

“To come away with a Men’s singles finalist, Girl’s singles junior finalist, Ladies doubles finalist and the Ladies singles and doubles winner is testament to the dedication of the players in training day in day out.”
