National Coaches Conference 2020
• 4 MINUTE READ
We are delighted to announce our new Coaches’ Conference will take place next month at the Gleneagles Arena on 15th and 16th February 2020.
This year’s conference will be headlined by one of the world’s best tennis coaches José Higueras.
José won 16 ATP singles titles as a player and reached back-to-back semi-finals at Roland Garros in 1982 and 1983, the year in which he reached No. 6 in the world rankings. He was also a regular on the Spanish Davis Cup team, playing for eight years.
He has since gone on to coach some of the world’s best tennis players, including Roger Federer, Pete Sampras and Michael Chang.
Blane Dodds, Tennis Scotland chief executive, said: “I am absolutely delighted with the line up of speakers and presenters for our new Coaches’ Conference. As you know the tennis community in Scotland is determined to raise the bar and continue the momentum and growth in Scottish Tennis. This conference, its speakers and special guest José Higueras demonstrates our ambition and our goal of helping to develop all our coaches and develop more opportunities for all.”
