Performance Coach - Ewell Castle School


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Performance Tennis Coach to join our dynamic and expanding coaching team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of elite junior players from aged 9 years to 18 years old, delivering high-quality coaching and mentoring both on and off the court. This position is for term-time only and there is the potential to earn during the school holidays with the high demand for individuals for the elite juniors.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 32 hours of coaching per week during school term times.
- Coach individual sessions and performance squads.
- Provide technical and tactical development for players aged 9–18 years.
- Support players at school matches and ITF tournaments, including travel when required.
- Be available for some early morning sessions starting at 7:30am.
- Collaborate with the academy team on player development plans and performance tracking.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and motivating environment for all athletes.
Essential Requirements
- LTA Level 4 Coaching Qualification (or international equivalent).
- Proven experience coaching high-level junior players.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to demonstrate at a high playing level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative coaching team.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including early mornings.
