Due to the scale and popularity of the programme we are looking to recruit a Lead Coach, either full-time or part-time with the potential to become full time.

On-court activity includes delivering LTA Youth programmes to our Junior members, Adult activity such as Tennis Xpress and Pair & Play, and there is a large membership with a high demand for private coaching.

Depending on the skillset, experience and ambitions of the Coach, there are opportunities to spend time in 10U Performance, Disability Tennis, Pickleball and other areas of our organisation.

We offer competitive rates of pay, profit shares, and financial incentives for coaches who invest in themselves. In addition, mentoring is available from our Directors who are both LTA-qualified Tutors & Mentors, plus kit and friends and family coaching packages.

Radyr LTC is a friendly and well-established club based in the heart of Radyr village, which is approximately 6 miles north of Cardiff. The club has 9 tennis courts (6 Tiger Turf, 3 Artificial Clay), 4 dedicated Pickleball courts, a large clubhouse and 'The Courtside' Bar.

Our coaching programme is designed and delivered by Tennis Squad, catering for around 300 players per week and an LTA flagship 'Youth Recognised Venue'. Tennis Squad partner with a further 8 South Wales venues with their activities including community coaching, 10U Performance, Pickleball, Padel, LTA-graded competitions, Coach Education & more.

LTA Level 3 Coach Award, or LTA Level 2 Instructor with ambition to sit the Coach award.

LTA Accreditation.

A passion for tennis, coaching and the club environment in which all members are valued regardless of their age/stage.

IT-literate (to access Email, Excel and cloud-based resources)

Driving license and use of a car, or the ability to reach Radyr LTC by train.
