Lawn Tennis Coordinator - The Queen's Club


The Queen's Club has an exciting opportunity for a permanent Tennis Coordinator to join our team!
This is a brilliant opportunity to join the prestigious and internationally renowned Queen’s Club in a role at the heart of the Lawn Tennis team. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the Lawn Tennis team and improve the sports offerings for our Members.
The Tennis Coordinator will be trusted to run the full-cycle coordination and communications for Adult and Junior fixtures, tournaments, and programming making it a critical part of the team.
Established in 1886, The Queen’s Club was the first multipurpose sports complex ever to be built, anywhere in the world.
The Club offers its Members the opportunity to play Lawn Tennis, Padel, Real Tennis, Rackets and Squash on some of the finest courts in the world.
An oasis of calm, The Queen’s Club is situated at a convenient location close to the centre of London. Along with first-class sporting facilities, the Club also offers excellent entertaining and dining facilities, including an elegant restaurant, bar, museum, and The President’s Room, all of which are located within the Members’ Clubhouse. The overall setting is both tranquil and charming.
This, together with the array of racquet sports available, is why The Queen’s Club remains one of the most coveted memberships in the country.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to coordinate with various stakeholders such as Members, Sports Office, and Tournaments Leads. You will ideally have previous tennis and/or social events experience, coordinating and running events whilst
demonstrating a good level of tennis playing ability, enabling you to fill in for or substitute participating members when required. To be clear, the role will not involve a coaching remit.
Being organised and proactive with Members is a key part of this role, alongside having the ability to adapt your working day to the variety of tasks required. You should be interested in working within a small team, and be able to work independently on tasks to meet team and individual objectives.
Above all, you will need to be personable, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and committed to the highest levels of service. You'll be highly collaborative with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels across the Club. You'll be self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working in a changing environment, with an organised, flexible and adaptable approach to work.
