2025 Summer camps ( July and August - Head Coach or Coach)


Leading the 2025 Summer camps on behalf of Jonathan Markson Tennis, and be the face for the summer of this long lasting company. We are looking for qualified tennis coaches who are passionate about their tennis and helping others to improve. This role is residential (your package
includes accommodation and meals) and runs in the summer. We also look at supporting any interest of Management.

Focusing on the key areas of our customers’ game such as developing the mental aspect, tuning up the tactical, improving a specific technical area and improving tennis fitness. As a coach and counsellor you will play a full role in day and night at camp,
including supervising campers at meals times, coaching during the day and
getting involved in the great evening activities , you will also sleep in the same
accommodation building as the campers.
Of course you'll have time to yourselves and will not be on duty all day and night.
The management team will create a working schedule (available at the start of
the week) detailing your working requirements and time off. You'll also have
whole days and nights off to explore the surrounding area.
Tournament days (Thursday PM - Doubles) and Saturday (Singles All Day)
provide opportunities to rota a majority of coaches off. In general coaches will
work every second Sunday to help with player transfers and London trips.
As a professional experienced coach, you are familiar with running tennis
sessions for individuals and groups (6 players per court). You are able to lead,
manage groups on and off the court, work as part of a team and apply health and
safety best practice.
• LTA Level 2 or higher / International equivalent (PTR, RPT, BEES, DE,
GPTCA, FIT…)
• Good spoken English is essential
• Passionate about tennis and helping others to enjoy the game
• High playing level
• Tennis Coach license
• Current DBS check (CRB) / International equivalent
• Eligible to work in UK (No VISA applications supported)
• Coaching experience of 8 – 17 year olds and adults, all levels
• Comfortable coaching groups of 6 players on a court
• Understand that this role involves on and off court duties (i.e. football,
airport transfers etc.)
• ‘Duty of care’ of residential tennis players so a minimum age of 18 is
required.
