Part-Time Tennis Coach Vacancy – Star Tennis

Star Tennis is seeking a dedicated and qualified Part-Time Tennis Coach to join our coaching team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an LTA Level 2 Coach who is aspiring to attain Level 3 qualification. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality coaching sessions across multiple venues and contributing to the development of players of all ages and abilities.

Led by Head Coach Jon Cain, a Level 5 Master Club Coach with over 20 years of experience, Star Tennis is committed to providing high-quality coaching and mentoring. Our company upholds high standards in coaching, with a strong emphasis on developing players and fostering their long-term engagement with the sport.

Position Details:
Locations: Bollington Recreation Ground, Aldelrey Park, and Prestbury Tennis Club (additional venues anticipated in the future)

Working Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule

Responsibilities:
Conduct private coaching sessions for junior and adult players across various skill levels

Lead group coaching sessions, including cardio tennis, walking tennis, adult beginner groups, and junior development programs

Organize and oversee Junior LTA Matchplays and Beginner Team Challenge events

Contribute to the long-term development of padel coaching programs

Essential Skills and Attributes:
Effective communication skills, both on and off the court, including professional email correspondence

Team-oriented approach, collaborating with fellow coaches at events and training sessions

Leadership abilities to guide players, assistant coaches, and tennis leaders effectively

Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and motivation to support players in achieving their potential
