A practical session to discover ways to effectively observe & analyse a players match court performance using the principles of practice. Utilising the LTA Tactical and Technical frameworks to drive match court performance.
Matt Smith – LTA Youth Red Performance.
A first look at the NEW (not yet released) LTA Youth red performance content. Exploring how we embed the LTA Youth principles into our training sessions. Specifically for red players that are competing more regularly. Watching the videos, discussing, having a go and adapting them for your players.
The British Tennis doubles system.
A look into Louis Cayer’s principles that has created so much success over the past 10+ years. Exploring attacking and defending drills in different game situations for you to use with your players in your programme. For this short session, looking at the Louis’ top fears for recreational players to overcome.
Julie Sinkins – ‘Nutritional knowledge of parents and coaches, involved in the LTA Performance Player Pathway’, to highlight the gap in coaches' knowledge and provide guidance on how we can better support our players.

University of Exeter is an approved LTA Coach Development Centre.
Our organisation offers LTA qualifications at Assistant (Level 1), Instructor (Level 2) and Coach (Level 3). We also offer CPD courses for coaches.
