I am a level 4 licensed coach. I have been coaching for over 30 years and during that time have coached all ages and abilities from beginners to national junior rankings including an international junior who represented GB. I enjoy tutoring coach education qualification courses around the North East & North West. In my opinion, all tennis regardless of age and ability is all good tennis, a game to love & enjoy, a life skill for kids, a game for life.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
