I am full time head tennis coach at Garstang and District Tennis Club, Hambleton Tennis Club, Goosnargh Tennis Club, St Annes Tennis Club, Sedbergh Tennis Club and 10 primary schools where i coach the mini red, orange and green classes, as well as juniors and adults. I am a qualified line umpire, tournament referee and competition organiser. Looking to set up more disability sessions. I have an MSc in Sport, Physical Activity and Mental Health.

Tennis with a difference - a fun group fitness class aiming to increase heart rate and burn calories, while hitting as many tennis balls as possible.
The introductory programme for kids aged 4 – 11 with everything kids need to get started, including group coaching sessions, a racket and ball set.
Tennis programme for 4 to 18 year olds, packed full of games and dynamic training to help kids improve mentally and physically, developing life skills along the way.
This is usually the first taste of individual competition and allows kids to build their match experience and confidence.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
