Sophie is an LTA Accredited Level 3 Coach (currently working towards Level 4) with over 13 years of coaching experience. She grew up competing at county and national level, and still occasionally represents her county today. Her coaching journey has taken her across the UK and abroad, including a year coaching in Brisbane, Australia. Sophie brings a wealth of experience and passion to every session, helping players of all ages and abilities develop their skills and confidence on court.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
