Accessibility
We want to make the HSBC Championships as welcoming, inclusive and accessible as possible, working within the restrictions of a temporary outdoor venue.
Find out more about our accessibility measures in place at the HSBC Championships.
Action Audio creates a 3D spatial audio experience for live sports to allow blind and partially-sighted audiences to follow the action in real-time.
The live Action Audio feed is available on the HSBC Championships accessibility page on the LTA website and via the BBC.
All food and drink outlets at the HSBC Championships are wheelchair accessible.
Refer to the site map or speak to an Event Steward or Volunteer on site for more information on accessible toilet locations.
Certified assistance dogs are permitted within the grounds, but aren't allowed into the grandstand seating - this will require a ticket for the wheelchair seating area.
Please note that there are no dog spending areas within the grounds, however a re-entry policy is in place to facilitate leaving the grounds.
Hearing induction loops are available to those with hearing aids fitted with a ‘T’ switch, for use on Centre Court. For more information, speak to an Event Steward or Volunteer on site.
Lift access is available to the first floor of the South Pavilion hospitality area and Court 1 Pavilion. Check out the site map or ask an Event Steward or Volunteer on site for more information.
There is an on-site Quiet Room and Multi-Faith Room at The Queen's Club. For more information check out the site map or speak to an Event Steward or Volunteer.
The Quiet Room can be used for reflection and contemplation, or to reduce sensory overload. The Multi-Faith Room is specifically designed for prayer.
To ensure everyone feels included, we’ve introduced sensory bags at our grass court tournaments. Each sensory bag includes:
- Ear defenders
- Ear plugs
- Sunglasses
- Fidget toys
These can be collected from the tournament information point.
All ground surfaces within the site are hard. There are some ramps in place to aid accessibility and Event Stewards/Volunteers are available to provide assistance if necessary. Due to the temporary nature of the site, not all staircases or ramps have handrails.
Unfortunately, there is no parking available on site at The Queen’s Club. Visit bluebadgeparking.com or contact Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Accessible Transport team on their Accessible Transport page for details of Blue Badge parking around the local area.
Please note that both Barons Court station and West Kensington station do not have step-free access. The closest underground stations with lifts are Hammersmith, Kensington Olympia and West Brompton.
Unfortunately, wheelchair hire is not available at the tournament, but there are storage provisions for foldable wheelchairs.
Foldable wheelchairs can be left onsite but storage must be reserved at least one week in advance of your visit as space is limited. Visit the HSBC Championships accessibility page to reserve your space.
