To add to his collection of silverware, he and partner Sam Fussell also won the doubles event.

Niall, the top seed, didn’t drop a single set on his way to his singles success, beating fellow Brit Neo Armis, seeded 2, in the final 6-3,6-0.

Niall and Neo met again in the 14U boys’ doubles final. Niall and Sam, seeded number one, ran out winners against second seeds Neo and his partner Colin Landry of Denmark 6-1, 6-7(7), 10-6.

Tennis Wales Head of Performance Chris Lewis said: “Niall is finishing the year incredibly strongly. He currently leads the elite season-ending Tennis Europe boys’ 14U Race to Monte Carlo leaderboard by close to 100 points. Cymru can be extremely proud of what he has achieved. Da iawn Niall.”
