The role involves delivering group coaching to juniors and adults of all abilities with the opportunity to increase hours with individual lessons. The programme runs both weekdays and weekends throughout the year with over 1500 weekly participants and the successful candidate will play a major role in growing this further. There are also opportunities for daytime work within our network of 60 active local primary schools.

The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours, be available in the evening and weekends and have a passion for grass roots tennis adopting the LTA Youth principles.

The role will initially start on 30 group hours but can quickly expand over the coming months. There is also the opportunity to deliver individual lessons to clients with demand extremely high. Coaches are also offered an attractive rackets sponsorship deal.

The Lexus Nottingham Tennis Centre, is one of the leading tennis venues in the country and has recently been acquired by the LTA. We have 15 covered courts , 12 indoor court as well as 13 grass courts reserved for major events but available to the public during the summer

The Centre delivers one of the largest community programmes in the country with over 1500 weekly participants as well as a disability programme, under 10 performance programme, an RPDC and an active outreach programme of 60 local primary schools. The Centre also has a social tennis programme and pay and play opportunities.

Nottingham Tennis Centre is host to the Rothesay Open Nottingham plus may other tournaments, coach education courses and performance training camps throughout the year.

The successful candidate must be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who has a genuine interest in tennis and growing the game.

In addition:

- Have experience delivering to both junior and adult groups.
- Be adaptable delivering LTA products such as LTA Youth and cardio tennis
- Ability to deliver to a range of age groups and playing standards.
- Be flexible to work weekday evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience of delivering in schools and running competitions is desirable.
-Be able to work effectively as part of a team
