As our Racquets Manager, supported by a Racquets Office Administrator, you will develop positive relationships with both Coaches and Members to enhance the experience within the Tennis Community, through:

- Being visible, available, and actively involved in the Racquets and Sports areas at peak times.
- Developing close working relationships with the wider Sports, Health & Leisure Management team.
- Engaging regularly with the Tennis Focus Group to assist enhancing the Racquets community.

On-Court Responsibilities

- Maintain the highest standard of coaching techniques whilst tailoring sessions to cater to a range of skill levels, ensuring a dynamic, fun and engaging learning environment for all tennis players.
- Commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures and LTA standards, whilst promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment.

Off-Court Responsibilities

- Deliver a successful commercial coaching programme whilst exceeding Member expectations.
- Take responsibility for managing and enhancing all areas of Racquets:
- Junior & Adult Development Programme
- Mini Tennis & Junior Performance Academy
- Squash Coaching
- Competitive Programme for Adult and Juniors
- Adult Coaching Programme
- Holiday Camps
- Coaching Clinics
- Club Competitions and Tournaments
- Social Tennis Programme
- Pickleball
- Padel Tennis

- Develop and implement the long-term visions for the Racquets section to ensure growth, including infrastructure improvements, program expansion and financial sustainability.
- Work closely with the Coaching team to improve the offering and coaching standard.
- Ensure the highest standard of Health & Safety and compliance across all areas of Racquets as well as the wider Club.
- Ensure clear and effective communication is managed to Members, Management and other departments.
- Produce monthly performance reports, including usage data. Highlight patterns and take appropriate action on underperforming areas.
- Achieve financial targets and KPI’s.
- Ensure all contracts, licences and documentation required for the safe and effective operation of the Racquets department are in place and adhered to.
- Address all Member feedback to maintain Member satisfaction and retention.

Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The Racquets facilities boats a variety of surfaces to play tennis including 4 clay courts, 3 grass courts, 4 artificial grass courts, 8 floodlit macadam courts and 3 floodlit mini courts alongside 2 mini red artificial grass courts, 2 full sized squash courts, Pickleball courts and with Padel courts arriving later this year.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

- Ideally seeking a LTA qualified and accredited Level 4 or 5 coach, however exceptional Level 3 candidates may be considered.
- LTA Padel Instructor / Padel experience
- Passionate about Racquet Sports with an experienced background in Coaching.
- Proven organisational and leadership skills, capable of managing both Racquets Operations and its Coaching Programme.
- Adaptable, balancing the Coaching Programme and organisational management of the role.
- Committed to personal development and the growth of the Tennis Community at The Lensbury.
- Willingness to complete 1 x Duty Management shift per week.
