The Avenue Tennis Club is looking for a full time or possibly part time performance coach who is available to work throughout the week including at least one day at the weekend, probably Saturdays.

You will work as part of the team working towards improving our junior and adult competing levels. Be available as early as 8am and be prepared to coach until 9pm. Living near to the club is essential - postcode N3 2LE.

You will be a team player, flexible and have excellent communication skills, both with the players, the members, the parents and the visitors.

You will inspire our juniors to compete; you will do some outreach work with schools to introduce more young people to tennis - both in primary and secondary schools, and help to run open days and events at the club.

The Avenue is a family grass roots club with an ever growing junior programme and we we need another performance orientated coach to help take us to the next level. The club is very friendly and welcoming to all.

We have 3 full floodlit courts until 10pm Monday to Friday and 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Plus one purpose built junior court for Under 10s which is also floodlit. We run 6 junior teams from U8 to U16, and 4 adult teams.

With 350 keen members there is lots of coaching, 121s and groups - you could start any time before 10th June.

You will be a well qualified coach with a minimum playing standard at County level.

You will have experience in coaching to a high level for both juniors and adults.

You will be available to coach as early as 08.00am and as late as 21.00pm being flexible and living near to Finchley.

You will want to coach lots of hours, be keen to run teams and get involved in the club at all levels, growing a career here, at The Avenue Tennis Club in coaching.

You will also be experienced in all levels of Mini Tennis and be competent with Blue, Red, Orange & Green players You will be 100% experienced in using the LTA competition software
