As a Lead Coach you will delivery community coaching programmes including but not limited to: LTA Youth Start and Youth courses for Juniors, Tennis Xpress and Pair & Play for Adults. There is opportunity in the area to develop your career further with 1-1 lessons, local level competitions, disability tennis and more.

Situated at Ystradfechan playing fields next to Treorchy Park, Rhondda Tennis Club provides sports facilities for everyone in the community. We have 6 floodlit tennis courts, a multi-sports court (tennis/football/basketball) plus a modern clubhouse available for hire. The current coaching programme by Tennis Squad runs 2 days per week and is at capacity so we are seeking an additional coach to grow the programme on 1 or more extra days. There is additional fee-earning potential with 1-1 lessons, holiday camps and more.

Aberdare Tennis Club in Aberdare Park boasts 3 tennis courts set in a serene surrounding which accommodates players of varying levels. We provide an optimal setting for both recreational and competitive play. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or a seasoned player seeking a challenging match, our facilities are equipped to cater to your needs. The club is seeking a new coach to relaunch the programme for 2024 over 1-2 days per week with full fee retention.

You’ll be qualified to LTA Level 2* / Instructor Level (or on the way to doing so) and becoming LTA Registered. You’ll have a passion for entry-level coaching programmes for the community and be keen to coach part-time on a year-round basis. The main qualities we are looking for are enthusiasm and reliability.

We also welcome applicants from more experienced coaches at Level 3 and above who may be looking to take on a Head Coach role in the area.
