The successful applicant will be self-employed, aiming to build a varied programme of activity of at least 15 hours a week. This will include weekly adult and junior coaching groups, holiday camps and other taster events for the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coaching Program Development
Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching program tailored to all ages and skill levels, utilizing the upgraded facilities to offer a diverse range of sessions, including junior groups, adult groups, and private lessons.

Introduce innovative coaching techniques and training methodologies to enhance player development and enjoyment of the sport.

2. Community Engagement
Engage with the local community to promote tennis participation and increase club membership through outreach initiatives, including free coaching clinics, open days, and school partnerships.

Establish strong ties with local schools, community groups, and businesses to raise awareness of the club and attract new members.

3. Tennis Camps and Events
Organize and lead tennis camps and special events to provide additional opportunities for skill development, social interaction, and community bonding.

Collaborate with the club committee and volunteers to plan and execute tournaments, social gatherings, and other club activities.

4. Marketing and Promotion
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote coaching services, events, and membership opportunities, utilizing both traditional and digital channels.

Leverage the club's upgraded facilities as a key selling point to attract new members and enhance the club's reputation within the community.

Stamford Bridge is a large village in East Yorkshire, 5 miles east of York.

Stamford Bridge Tennis Club is undergoing an exciting phase of growth with the relocation and upgrade of its facilities to three outdoor floodlit courts in a new location in the village.

The club is keen to use its upgraded facilities and new high quality coaching programme to attract more members and foster a vibrant tennis community in Stamford Bridge. The club already has good links with the local primary school as well as the other sports clubs in the village.

The club is looking for an individual who is passionate and enthusiastic about tennis and has strong communication skills to inspire and motivate people of all ages, genders and abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified to at least Level 3 with LTA accreditation or equivalent.
- First Aid certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching tennis, with a proven track record of program development and player engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
- Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to adapt coaching methods to meet the needs of diverse players.

Contract:
- The Head Tennis Coach will operate as a self-employed individual and will negotiate coaching fees with the club committee.
- Responsible for all income tax and national insurance in respect of coaching fees.
