This webinar is aimed at all coaches currently working with competitive players, and will be focusing on providing top-tips to foster a strong coach-parent-player relationship to maximise players' performance.
Dr. Callum Gowling, PhD in sport psychology, understands the challenges of being a competitive player, and how important the contribution of their parents and coaches are as they move along their pathway. His experience at semi-pro level (travelling overseas to compete) and also his work on studying elite junior players, puts Dr. Callum in the best position to provide advice to coaches on how to handle challenging parent behaviour, techniques to motivate and support young athletes and the mental game of competitive athletes.
Dr. Callum Gowling also brings a lot of experience to the coaching world, having worked with different Tennis organisations, such as the British Association of Sport and Exercise Scientists (BASES), and with different international level juniors for an extended period (15+ years). All this before setting up Liquid Sport Psychology, project through which, he focuses on bringing mental skills to help athletes maximise 'their own unique journeys'.
