Scotland regained the overall Home Nations Championships title from holders England at Scotstoun, Glasgow, by the narrowest of margins. Having each won two age group titles, Scotland and England were tied on 14 points each. Scotland however had won 67% of rubbers played to England’s 65%. Wales took 3rd place with Ireland 4th. The Scots last won the title in Belfast in 2007.
Scotland won the senior title following an excellent 5-1 final day win over Wales. This followed 4-2 victories over both England and Ireland. The 12 & Under title also was won by Scotland with three convincing wins. England won the other age groups – 14 and 18 & Under – with Scotland runners-up in both.
