The Cheshire Council is the management group of the County Association. The Council is a voluntary body lead by the President.
Elizabeth became County President in December 2010 after working on several Cheshire Committees for many years. She was a LTA Councillor for 3 years during which time she was invited to serve on an LTA Committee and has subsequently been asked to be involved in various LTA Working Groups including a review of all Inter-County Competition. She is currently Captain of Cheshire’s Senior Ladies team.
Barbara has been a very active member of the Cheshire County Committees and has played in County teams for many years.
She was County President from 2008 to 2010 and is currently Chair of both the Finance and Club Liaison Workgroups as well as Ladies Veterans' Secretary.
Barbara has been a member of various County Committees for over 25 years. As Chair of the Tournaments & Competition Workgroup she plays an active role in the organisation of all County Closed events and also serves on the Club Liaison Workgroup.
Barbara was Chairman of Birkenhead LTA for many years and played for the Cheshire County Vets Team.
As well as being Junior Vice-President, Robert is also the key contact for guiding all clubs in Cheshire through the incorporation process.
John Hoffmann has been Cheshire’s County Secretary since 1994. After retiring from his commercial career he worked in the LTA North West Regional Office and was there until it closed in 2003.
Roger is a past President of the County and also County Treasurer. He has worked on the Cheshire Committees for many years and has recently retired from his Accountancy profession. Roger is an LTA Councillor and Lead Volunteer.
Nicki's role in the Council is to work with the County Volunteers to provide the strategic direction and management of tennis in Cheshire.
Anthony is a past President of the County and has also performed the role of County Treasurer. He has worked on the Cheshire Committees for many years and is also an LTA Councillor.
Jan was County President from 2006 to 2008 and has recently been appointed by the County as the Chair of the Marketing Workgroup.
