The course is the starting point for people who want to get involved in tennis. It is aimed at people who are enthusiastic about tennis and want to help a coach deliver Mini Tennis.
The main objectives are to train candidates in how to assist an LTA licensed coach with groups of mini tennis players.

Candidates will need to complete their portfolio of evidence and complete a minimum of 3 hours coaching experience with an LTA licensed coach.
Candidates are required to have their coaching assistant experience organised before the course starts. For help with this please contact your course provider or your LTA county office.
The course is assessed in the following ways:
N.B. Candidates must attend all the sessions on the course at the same venue and pass all elements of assessment to be successful.
Get a DBS (formerly known as CRB Enhanced Disclosure) processed through the LTA.
