Overview
All British Tennis Members are automatically entered into a ballot for Wimbledon tickets.
British Tennis Members who are members of an LTA affiliated tennis club
Each affiliated clubs allocation of tickets for the 2010 Championships, will be based on the number of club tennis members who have signed up to BTM as of 30 November 2009.
Each affiliated club will run its own ticket ballot and will be supplied with guidelines on how best to run a Club Ballot.
Who is eligible for entry into club ballots?
All club tennis members who have signed up to British Tennis Membership (BTM) will be eligible for entry into their LTA affiliated club ballot. It is the responsibility of the Club Main Contact at each affiliated club to accept that an individual is a tennis member of that club and therefore entitled to free BTM. It is up to the club if they wish to allow social tennis members to sign up to free BTM. If a club does allow such members to have free BTM, the member is therefore eligible to enter their club’s Wimbledon ticket ballot. It is up to the club to manage this.
Club main contacts are able to remove the link between their club and an individual British Tennis Member via Places to Play Self Service. The club main contact will need to notify the individual that this has been done and that the individual will either need to register and pay as a non affiliated member or register themselves with another affiliated tennis club to retain their free British Tennis membership.
If you have questions about your club’s individual ballot please contact your club directly.
Anyone successful in a Club Ballot must be a current member at that club and signed up to BTM (Adult or Junior) on the date that the Club Ballot takes place, at the time of purchase, and at the time of visiting the event. The date of the Club Ballot will vary from club to club so be sure to find out when your club will be running their ballot and ensure that your membership will be valid on that date.
The categories of membership eligible are:
- Affiliated Club Adult members
- Affiliated Club Junior members
Affiliated Club Child* members are not eligible for entry into the ballot.
If a British Tennis Member is a member at more than one affiliated club and wishes to be entered into the ballot at each club, they must add all clubs to their profile by logging into the Members only area of the website and updating their profile, or by calling the BTM team on 020 8487 7000.
