Job Description

Mackintosh LTC are looking for a motivated and driven coach to join our ever expanding award-winning coaching team (starting ASAP). The role will involve coaching both juniors and adults of all ages and experience levels in a group environment. The coach would be expected to work some evenings during the week and at weekends, plus school holidays. The successful candidate would have 10-15 hours of work per week, with the potential to grow to a full-time position by offering hitting sessions, expanding our links with local schools and running community-based projects.

Overview of thr Venue

Mackintosh LTC is a community tennis club located near to the centre of Cardiff. The Welsh city of Cardiff has been named one of the best places to live in the UK. The club has 5 outdoor floodlit hard courts – plus an indoor hall which can be used for Mini Tennis. There are currently almost 500 members at the club, with approximately 220 children and 80 adults attending sessions on our current programme at least once per week.

Person Specification

•LTA Accredited or Accredited+ Coach
•Minimum Level 2/LTA Instructor Qualification
•Professional, motivated and enthusiastic
•Organised and reliable
•To be flexible with working hours
•Hold a driving licence and own transport (desirable)
•To work with all ages and experience levels

You will be working with a small team of coaches and would be expected to work well with others. The successful candidate needs to be self-motivated and deliver quality sessions.
