Mini Tennis Blended Lines Fund

Mini Tennis Red ball on tennis court

The Mini Tennis Blended Lines Fund is a new dedicated fund to help venues and coaches attract and retain more children in Mini Tennis.

The cost of marking out Mini Tennis courts will vary but for 4 red courts and 2 orange courts the cost is approximately £500.

The LTA will fund up to £500 towards the cost of marking out Mini Tennis lines at LTA Registered Venues in 2017 subject to the terms set out below.

If you are interested in painting Mini Tennis lines at your venue and would like a grant to support the project please read the steps below and fill in the application form.

Step 1 – Discuss the Project

Venues and coaches should discuss marking out dedicated Mini Tennis courts together and the application should be made in partnership. Both the venue and coaches should agree what is best for the venue and receive committee and management approval.

Step 2 – Get a Quote

Using the list of SAPCA approved contractors, get a quote. It’s up to you who you use.  Prices will vary so you may wish to contact more than one supplier.  Please note you will need to provide an estimate in your application so you’ll need to contact the contractors before filling in your application.

Step 3 - Apply

Complete the application form and submit.

The LTA will contact you within 2 weeks to let you know if your application has been successful.

Once you receive confirmation of funding proceed with booking in the contractor to mark out the Mini Tennis courts.

Reimbursement of payment

When the funding is confirmed by the LTA and the project is completed, you will need to send a copy of the contractor’s final invoice, venue account details and images of the painted lines to the LTA via email. Once the LTA receives this information and verifies the lines have been properly painted a reimbursement payment of up to £500 will be made to the registered venues account.

Terms of funding

  • The funding is available to LTA Registered Venues only.
  • The work must be completed in 2017.
  • The funding must be used solely for the purpose of painting permanent Mini Tennis lines at the LTA Registered Venue applying. Any funding not used for such purpose must be returned to the LTA.
  • The maximum amount available under this project is £500 per LTA Registered Venue.
  • The funding is available only where a SAPCA approved contractor is used.
  • The funding is subject to the venue following the application and funding process set out by the LTA and to the LTA being satisfied by the details of the project and the work undertaken.
  • There is a limited budget in 2017 and venues will be supported on a first come first served basis.
