Yes, you can currently earn more than 8 CPD credits via LTA Online Courses. Our technology currently automatically restricts coaches to 8 CPD credits for LTA online courses, but you are able to apply for CPD credits beyond 8 via Independent Learning.

Simply go into the Independent Learning form (found here) and input ‘Formal’ > ‘Online course’ > ‘Yes’, select which LTA Online Course you have completed from the dropdown list, and then all other details.

This lets the Coach Development Team know that you have completed an LTA Online Course and you have not automatically received CPD credits for it. The Coach Development Team then add these CPD credits to your training record manually.

We recommend undertaking 8+ hours of face-to-face learning per year, but we understand that this is not always possible. The above process opens CPD up and allows you to learn remotely and at a time which suits you.
