Tennis Coach - Berkshire
David Lloyd Royal Berkshire is seeking a coach to join our large and successful adult and junior coaching programmes. We are seeking an LTA Level 3 accredited coach. (Strong Level 2's who are close to completing their Level 3 course will be considered).
The coach must be well organised, punctual, engaging and above all, be able to deliver a consistently high quality on court product.
The position is a self employed role, with a guarantee of group hours and the ability to build a large 1-2-1 coaching business in addition.
The coach will deliver in both the adult and junior tennis programmes and will need to be comfortable delivering group sessions to both juniors and adults.
The coach will be encouraged to involve themselves in the wider club. Building a positive relationship with the clubs racquets members will be an important part of the role.
At Royal Berkshire we have a highly active and engaging racquets membership. The racquets department is the largest part of the clubs activities. Our tennis programme for adults and juniors is vast and has plenty of scope for further growth. Additionally, we host regular events and Royal Berkshire is used as one of David Lloyds regional event hosts.
We have 17 tennis courts. 12 indoor (10 carpet, 2 acrylic) and 5 outdoor courts. Our facilities provide the perfect environment for a coach to earn a guaranteed income through the ability to establish a large clientele base for 1-2-1 coaching.
The club itself is premium; spa, gym, clubroom/restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, badminton courts, squash courts, studios and much more.
As a member of the coaching team, the coach will have access to all club facilities.
As mentioned in the job description, the successful candidate will be an LTA Level 3 accredited coach, who is comfortable working with both juniors and adults, in both groups and 1-2-1's. You will be organised, punctual, engaging and above all else, be able to deliver a consistently high quality on court product.
We have a large team at Royal Berkshire and so being able to work as part of that team is essential. The club is a busy and energetic place and so you will need to be comfy in such an environment.
As a tennis coach you will report to and work closely with the clubs Racquets Manager as well as the rest of the coaching team. Regular support is on hand. Being able to work as part of that team is required as is being able to approach your manager with any problems or questions you may have.
The role is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to commit themselves. There is huge potential for growth and earning within the role. You will be joining a racquets department that is a proven success but is ready for fresh input and potentially some new ideas.
