Tennis Coach (Level 2+)
There are two types of schedule available, one with hours across weekdays and weekends and the other is an opportunity to gain hours during weekends only.
This opportunity is offered on a self-employed basis within a friendly and motivating coach environment. In this role you will:
- Assist or lead group sessions that are part of the All Star Tennis Programme.
- Be responsible for setting up and clearing away equipment for all of your own sessions.
- Develop a personal client base and conduct individual and small group lessons (dependent on level of qualification).
- Contribute to the Company's Schools Programme (Weekday schedule only)
- Maintain safeguarding standards and the correct code of conduct.
- Create an enjoyable training environment while developing athletic and tennis skills.
All Star Tennis is a vibrant, friendly group of people dedicated to delivering high quality tennis coaching in the South West London area. We are the largest single borough parks tennis operation in the UK and have continued to grow year on year since 1999 - recently opening two brand new Padel courts. We are looking for enthusiastic coaches to join us now and in 2025!
Essential Requirements:
- LTA Level 2 or 3 qualification. (Working towards or a relevant alternative is acceptable)
- You must be organised, punctual and committed
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
Desired Requirements:
- Experience in Mini Tennis, teaching children from 3yrs old
- Experience working with adults and children from beginner to performance level
- Comfortable leading group and private lessons
- Previous playing experience
- Experience of schools programmes
- Be available to start the role in the New Year/later during the Spring Term.
