On-Court:

A minimum 5 years experience as an Accredited LTA Coach, tailoring sessions to cater to a range of skill levels, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants by adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment.


Off-Court Responsibilities:

Strong planning skills to develop and execute long-term visions for programme growth.

Ability to engage with BDLTC Directors, Members, Schools, and Parents.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to problem solve.

Ability to build own team of assistant coaches and coaching assistants to run a programme of group grass roots sessions and individual coaching sessions.

Good administrative skills.

Banstead Downs LTC is a LTA Registered Venue with over 300 members located in the borough of Reigate and Banstead, Surrey. We compete for our members in a competitive environment, with over 20 tennis clubs within 5 miles of us.

Founded in 1933, Banstead Downs LTC has over recent years maintained a steady membership, and benefits from four artificial clay and two macadam courts, all with LED floodlights, meaning we can play all year round. The club competes in various local and county competitions at all ages and abilities.

Benefits:

Retain 100% income from member group and individual coaching.
There are no court fees to deliver group or individual coaching for club members. Individual coaching for non-club members requires a visitors fee to be paid to the Club for each session.

We would expect the Head Coach to run Holiday Club sessions for local children during the school holidays, with fees retained by the Head Coach.

The Head Coach would be expected to provide all necessary coaching equipment.

This ia a role for a self motivated Head Coach who will be able to build their own team of assistant coaches and coaching assistants to meet the evolving coaching needs of Banstead Downs Tennis Club.

The Club currently runs a programme of group grass roots courses for junior and senior members during week day mornings and early evenings and for juniors on Saturday mornings.

Coaches also can run individual coaching sessions.
