Padel Coordinator
Reporting into the Racquets Manager, and working closely the wider club team, the Padel Co-ordinator will be responsible for:
- Coordinating a world class padel program ensuring the courts are optimsied to have the right balance of private coaching, inclusive classes and member bookings
- Delivering key padel events, workshops and experiences.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive padel community, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate padel offerings into wider club wellness programs and initiatives.
- Monitoring and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of padel classes and programs, through monitoring classes and app rating, implementing improvements as needed.
- For Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults Policy for the club and ensure any concerns are reported correctly and through the correct channels.
- Coaching our members
- Developing a working relationship with the LTA and other professional associations.
- Liaising with other departments on joint activities – in particular with the Junior Activities Supervisor, Swim Coordinator and Tennis coordinator in supporting the provision of racquets activities for children
- Ensuring all new members receive a padel assessment and club rating as part of a full induction.
- Ensuring all classes and lessons are adequately covered by trained staff and in compliance with statutory guidelines at all times.
- Providing supervision the padel team, ensuring they are inspired to achieve high standards of member service, safety and brand standards at all times
- Supporting the Racquets Manager to run a commercially successful Padel product, leading to in positive KPI results
- Hiring and retaining the best Padel team in the industry
- Facilitating team engagement through team member classes and training.
- Ensuring padel coaches are receiving a high-quality assessment monthly in club and more frequently if a risk class, inadequate feedback or low app rating

- Accreditation from a reputable Padel certification, qualification and Accreditation recognised within the UK
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful Padel programmes
- Previous experience in coordinating self employed coaches and a padel programme of similar size and scale and therefore of ensuring compliance with racquet industry standards and health and safety responsibilities
- You thrive on exceeding targets and creating world class experiences.
- Excellent people skills, and a passion for training, coaching and developing coaches
- Previous experience of dealing with complaints politely and efficiently is required.
- Excellent administration and organisation skills and proficient in using a computer.
- A flexible attitude to working patterns with ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
