Head University Coach
We have 6 competing teams - 3 Men's, 2 Women's & 1 Mixed team. The coach would be responsible for planning and delivering sessions on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. Each session will need to be team-specific and relevant to the team's level/areas of improvement. Sessions will ideally include drills, strength and conditioning, gameplay and evaluation.
The sessions will run during the university terms (breaks over Christmas & Easter holidays) and take place in New River Sports & Fitness on 4 indoor courts during weekends. The times required are:
Saturdays 12-5pm
Sundays 12-4pm
UCL Tennis is a student-run society part of University College London and consists of both competitive and recreational players. We are seeking a coach for our competitive BUCS and LUSL players.
Sessions are held on indoor courts at New River Sports & Fitness, White Hart Lane, London.
Essential:
LTA-Accredited Level 3 coach or higher
DBS, First Aid & Safeguarding Qualifications
Experience coaching performance level
Excellent communication skills
Experience delivering small squad sessions and large training sessions
Desirable:
LTA Level 4 Qualification
Competitive playing experience - ideally national-level tournaments
High-performance coaching experience
