Due to having long term member of staff relocating abroad, GDTennis are looking to appoint a coach to work alongside our team of coaches in delivering our successful coaching programmes at both Reading University and Caversham LTC. This is a rare exciting opportunity with a minimum of 35 hours available indoors with the ability to do more.

Successful candidates will be joining a forward-thinking company who operate at over 8 venues across Berkshire. GDTennis provide all coaches with admin and marketing support, as well as use of a full booking system.

Key responsibilities:

•Provide support with the day to day running of our successful junior and adult coaching programme for all ages & abilities to include school holiday camps.
•Deliver both group coaching and individual lessons to a high professional level, with good structure, organisation and feedback to players and parents.
•Help to maintain and grow quality school links and raise awareness in the local community to attract new players & members.
•Attend the venues regular management meetings to report on coaching activities as well as new initiatives.

Based at the SportsPark at Reading University the TennisPark has 3 indoor courts & 5 fully floodlit outdoor courts.

The TennisPark sees a variety of different users, from students, to members, and local residents so our coaches deliver a range of different sessions within their programme encompassing student tennis, schools tennis, club tennis and performance all under one roof.

The coaching programme currently has over 400 attendees each week, so we already have a well established programme in place.

Caversham LTC is arguable one of the best tennis facilities in Berkshire.

The club prides itself on it's friendly atmosphere and has great playing facilities:

The club has a total of 9 courts:

4 tournament-grade acrylic courts
2 texplay all-weather courts
3 tar macadam all-weather courts

In winter (October - March), two acrylic courts are covered by a state-of-the-art airhall dome. This provides coaches with guaranteed work whatever the weather during the winter.

With over 500 members from 4 - 80 years old.

The coaching programme currently has over 300 attendees each week.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a passionate coach who has experience in delivering group coaching for all ages and abilities.
