The role will be as with initially 10 hours of core group delivery, plus the opportunity to quickly build hours of individual coaching sessions. This could also grow into a full time role by the Spring 2024.

 

On-court delivery consists of LTA Youth Start and delivering Youth Tennis through to Adult group sessions on a Weekly basis. As this is a new project with new provision, we will work around your diary to accommodate. You will have the ability to use the courts to teach individually.

 

The successful candidate will be able to deliver an individual coaching and the candidate can run a self-employed coaching business alongside delivering a group coaching programme.

 

To deliver and maintain a high quality, all-round coaching programme that caters for all ages and abilities.

 

To deliver an initial minimum of 10 hours of core group coaching per week and be available for individual coaching delivery. Full description available during the interview.

 

To assess the programme quality and check results regularly alongside the Programme Manager where necessary to ensure the programme and venues usage continues to grow.

 

To undertake any other duties as may be required, such as coach meetings and off court training.  

St Michaels Park is situated in the heart of Cirencester, Gloucestershire. SMP has 3 floodlit courts and a cafe.

NTA will support marketing for individual lessons.

The successful candidate must be a level 2 or above, ideally working towards their Club Coach Award.

They must be comfortable working with children aged 4-17 and be trained as an LTA Youth coach.

The candidate must also have:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for the game
  • Min 1 years experience in delivering a wide range of coaching sessions.
  • A strong customer service ethos and desire to improve coaching services to all.
  • A professional manner and reliable
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • The passion for continued learning and self-development
  • Experience in using software packages (including ClubSpark).
