We are looking for a full-time self-employed tennis coach to provide a professional and competent coaching service to all the clients of TWLTC and to be an ambassador for the club internally and externally. The candidate would be a passionate coach wanting to build on their career and help develop our membership and coaching programme. The coach would enjoy a full booked weekly calendar ranging from groups, potential for a big individual clientele and schools.
TWLTC is one of the largest Tennis Clubs in the county. We have around 1200 members and a coaching programme just shy of 600 players per week. We have 21 courts over three different surfaces, twelve of which are floodlit. The venue itself has a high level of play all throughout the year creating a fantastic atmosphere.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced, dynamic and passionate coach happy to work with both juniors and adults from club to development. Regular team meetings, promote TWLTC and our coaching programme generally and keep all of your training and coaching qualifications up to date.
You will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong organisational ability. You should have a strong team mindset with an openness to learning. Attention to detail, reliability, flexibility, and enthusiasm will be key to the role. Applicants must be passionate about the game, able to deliver high quality sessions for all age groups and have the desire to coach to the highest standard.
Minimum requirements include L2 qualification, current DBS and first aid.
