This is an employed position with National Tennis Association.
You will be supporting a growing programme alongside the Head Coach at Boundary Park.
The role will be as a Tennis Coach with an initial 20 hours of core group delivery, plus the opportunity to quickly build 10-20 hours of individual coaching sessions, with 10 players currently on a waiting list for lessons.
On-court delivery consists of delivering Academy Squads, LTA Youth Start and delivering Blue stage through to Adult group sessions on Mondays to Saturday excluding Tuesdays and Sunday for a day off or to teach individual lessons. Larger group work such as School tasters/assemblies and Camps are also available.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver an individual coaching business, which has a membership of over 500 players. There are no court fees to deliver individual coaching and the successful candidate will run a self-employed coaching business alongside delivering a group coaching programme.
Key Responsibilities :
1.To deliver and maintain a high quality, all-round coaching programme that caters for all ages and abilities.
2. To deliver an initial minimum of 20 hours of core group coaching per week and be available for individual coaching delivery. Group coaching hours are on afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. Full description available during interview.
3. To assess the programme quality and check results regularly alongside adapting where necessary to ensure the programme and venues usage continues to grow.
4. To undertake any other duties as may be required, such as coach meetings and off court training.
The successful candidate will quickly build a minimum of 10 hours of regular individual coaching sessions (as we have a current waiting list and lessons wanting to continue from the current Head Coach).
The total package in year one has the earning potential of £33,000 +

The successful candidate must be experienced and comfortable working with kids aged 4-17 and be trained as an LTA Youth coach.
