We are recruiting for a self-employed, tennis coach, to work under the guidance and alongside our head coach, initially for up to 25 hours per week.
Delivering coaching programmes for adult groups, at all levels including Tennis Express, Cardio, Doubles Tactics and Improver Courses
Individual lessons
Assist with developing Lta Youth courses, School Programmes and Holiday Camps
Help the Head Coach to grow the tennis club with new ideas and opportunities.

We are a welcoming, friendly and competitive club located at the Sports Club on the London Road, Shipston on Stour in Warwickshire. We have two Tiger Turf courts, both of which are floodlit, a small practice/warm-up court and a modern clubhouse. We want all our members to enjoy their tennis regardless of their standard, and be able to fulfil their ambitions and potential in a positive, inclusive and caring environment.

There are several club nights each week for men’s, ladies’ and mixed play and we enter a number of teams in the local leagues. We also organise social events throughout the year.

LTA Level 3 qualified coach (preferably for at least 12 months, however we will consider newly qualified coach)

Willing to work under the instruction of our current Level 3 Head Coach

LTA accredited + coach

Prepared to cover in the event of any absence/illness of the Head Coach

Hard working, professional individual who has a passion for teaching tennis

Punctual with good planning and administrative skills

Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with players of different abilities

The ability to support the Head Coach with running holiday camps, maintaining local school links and helping organise local junior league matches

Hold a UK driving license

Regularly updated with the necessary CPD and qualifications such as DBS, safeguarding and first aid
