The role is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of all tennis coaching, planning and delivery.

You have the following key areas of responsibility:

-Service Delivery
-Business Development
-Program Performance
-People Management
-Safety, Governance and Insurance

The successful applicant must be able to work weekends in particular regular Saturday mornings & event days.

Performance Measures & Accountability

•30 hours on court per week, 48 weeks per year
•Active engagement of clients (client feedback) including coaching & events
•Performance running events program, meeting budget requirements & client feedback
•Correct decisions regarding weather interruptions of program
•Coach Workshops – 2 per term (minimum)
•Maintain our 100% success for grading of juniors
•Recruitment of juniors into program
•Professional running of camps program
•Attendance regular meetings

In addition, we offer on-site swimming and Before and After Care services including vacation care.

•Proven proactive coaching ability
•Demonstrated tennis coaching skills in a group and individual setting
•Strong leadership skills to be a key leading member of the team
•Effective workplace communication skills
•Strong time management skills
•Proven competition management experience
•Flexible coaching skills for juniors & adults of all ages and standards
•Demonstrated co-operative & professional approach
•Proven ability to develop rapport & relationships with juniors, adults & parents
•Influencing skills to achieve participation in tennis program’s
•Willingness to work on weekends and event days
•IT/Computer Competencies – Google docs, LTA Tournament Planner, MS outlook, Word, Excel, Mindbody
