-Your role will be to provide full-time coaching services from Sunday-Thursday.
-The role will begin on Tuesday 19th April.
-The role is to support the existing full-time team to build our expanding programme.
-We currently have approximately 200 children and 50 adults on the programme.
-One of the main roles of the new coach will be to help initiate and then grow our junior and adult programmes on Sundays.
-The role will start with around 20 hours of work and should build quite quickly. The club has a lot of demand for coaching.


Opportunities
-The club will run CPD training a few times a year for the coaches to help them maintain their accreditation.
-The successful candidate will be given the chance to bring their own ideas to the coaching programme and there will be incentives to do so.
-The chance to work with and learn from an experienced team of coaches and to be given the opportunity to develop coaching skills in a wide range of sessions.

Situated in South West London, Putney Lawn Tennis Club is one of the oldest tennis clubs in the world. It was founded in 1879. Today it is a thriving club with close to 1000 members playing on 5 artificial grass courts and 5 artificial clay courts. We are proud to have Men’s and Ladies’ teams playing in the top Surrey Leagues.
The clubhouse is due to be refurbished soon and is a great social venue. It is often busy and has a vibrant atmosphere meaning PLTC is a great place to work at and be a part of.

-The coach should be energetic and passionate about coaching.
-The coach should be comfortable coaching a range of standards and ages and should have a good playing standard.
-They should have excellent communication skills with juniors and adults.
-They will be reliable and have a positive attitude.
-They will be able to work well in a team environment.
-They should be organised and take pride in their job.
