This is a Part-Time role with the possibility of growing Full-Time on-site role located in Finsbury Park for a Lead Tennis Coach at Tennis for All - The Access to Sports Project.

The Lead Tennis Coach will be responsible for leading tennis sessions to players of all ages and skill levels, predominately recreational, and working alongside the Head Coach and Tennis Development Officer(s) and Women in Sports Coordinator in delivering and organising tennis events focused on growing female participation on the Tennis for All Programme.

With funding allocated by the Tennis Foundation we are currently looking to extensively grow our Girls and Women Only provision to drive participation among this demographic, so we are looking for a candidate who can reflect these values.

Experience in delivering these initiatives is a bonus but not a must as internal training and support will be provided.

The Access to Sports project is a community led, creative & innovative sports development charity that works across the London boroughs of Islington, Haringey & Hackney.

Tennis for All was set up by the Access to Sports Project to make the sport more inclusive. We want to target underrepresented segments of the local community including women, people from ethnic minority communities, people with special educational needs and those on low incomes.

We run various school and community projects and we run an extensive programme using the courts at Finsbury Park. We have 8 courts (6 floodlit) with one court that has 4 mini court lines painted on. The courts have all recently been painted.

The coach can also grow their own client base at the courts providing private sessions to clients.

We are a dynamic team, seeking a coach from the local community who shares our values.
