Founded in 1878 The Leicestershire Tennis & Squash Club is the 4th oldest tennis club in the UK, and 12th oldest in the world! We are now seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Head of Club Coaching to co-ordinate and manage the provision of club tennis coaching for both juniors and adults. The Club Coach will be responsible for managing junior and adult coaching squads and developing his or her own clientele for individual adult and junior coaching.

We are looking for an outstanding Level 3 or Level 4 club coach who will be motivated to develop and grow both individual and squad coaching at the club.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Co-ordinate and manage the existing programme of junior squad coaching, and grow the programme through marketing to local schools and via social media.

2.Develop a group of players at all age groups who can progress to and benefit from the Club Performance Coaching Programme.

3.Network with Members and Parents to develop a significant number of individual clients.

The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the Head of Performance Coaching to further expand the coaching club programme. Administrative support is available via the Club Office. The club has the benefit of LTA Local Player Development Centre status.

- Hourly rate of £25 - £30ph to be agreed with the Club dependent on qualification
- c.10 hours a week squad coaching and 10 hours individual coaching ready to go with opportunity to quickly grow through programme development and increased individual lessons to 35 plus hours a week.
- Potential income c. £40-60k p.a. plus bonus tba.
- Administration support available via the club office.
- Retainer subject to negotiation

The role is based within the excellent facilities of The Leicestershire Tennis & Squash Club, located within an attractive area of Leicester. The club currently has c 400 adult and 150 junior tennis members involved in club or performance tennis coaching programmes. The club has the benefit of 18 courts including 11 artificial clay, 3 artificial grass and 4 hard courts. 10 of the courts currently have floodlights. The club has its own extensive bar and catering facilities, changing facilities, club shop and 3 squash courts.

Applicants must be qualified LTA Coach Accredited+. Ideally, we are seeking a Level 4 Coach who has a track record of managing, growing and delivering a top club coaching programme. However, a motivated level 3 coach with ambition and relevant experience will be considered.
